1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Scope
By registering, reserving, or leaving any dog, cat, or companion animal with The Pet Retreat ("Retreat", "we", "our", "us") at our facility on 100 Feet Road, Mittal Garden, Chhatarpur, New Delhi, or booking doorstep grooming and pet taxi services across South Delhi and Delhi NCR, the pet owner ("Owner", "Pet Parent", "you") unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These terms govern all services provided by The Pet Retreat, including:
- 100% Cage-Free Home Dog Boarding (₹700 / day)
- Home Dog Daycare and Supervised Social Play
- Master Grooming & Spa Salon and Doorstep Home Services led by Mantosh
- Dedicated Private Cat Suites & Feline Boarding (₹800 / night)
- Climate-Controlled Pet Taxi Transportation across Delhi NCR
2. Mandatory Pet Health & Vaccination Prerequisites
The safety and biosecurity of our cage-free community depend on strict preventative veterinary standards. No animal will be admitted to community areas without proof of core immunizations:
💉 Mandatory Immunization Schedule
- Canine Core Vaccines: DHPPi / 7-in-1 / 9-in-1 (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV), and Kennel Cough (Bordetella bronchiseptica oral or intranasal vaccine).
- Feline Core Vaccines: Feline Tricat (FVRCP) and Anti-Rabies.
- Parasite Treatment: A veterinarian-approved anti-tick and flea preventative (e.g. NexGard, Bravecto, Simparica, or Frontline Plus) must have been administered within the previous 30 days.
Proof of vaccination must be submitted via WhatsApp before arrival. If active ticks or fleas are discovered during intake, the Retreat reserves the right to administer an immediate anti-tick bath at the owner's expense before integration.
3. 100% Cage-Free Protocols & Temperament Assessment
The Pet Retreat is committed to a cage-free lifestyle where pets live in comfortable home rooms and sleep alongside caregivers or on orthopedic beds. By enrolling your pet, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Temperament Assessment: All pets undergo an intake assessment upon arrival. Dogs exhibiting uncontrollable aggression towards humans or other animals may be isolated in a spacious private bedroom for safety.
- Normal Social Play: Dogs socialize, romp, wrestle, and play in supervised groups. Minor play-related scratches, rough-and-tumble scuffs, or temporary fatigue are normal consequences of active canine pack interaction.
- Females in Heat: Female dogs in active heat or oestrus cannot participate in open pack play to prevent agitation and unintended breeding. Owners must disclose heat cycles prior to check-in.
- Neutered / Spayed Preference: While intact males and females are accepted, aggressive mounting or dominant behavior will be managed by placing the pet in an individually supervised lounge.
4. Salon & Home Grooming Guidelines (Led by Master Groomer Mantosh)
Our grooming services are delivered with extreme care, gentle handling, and strict hygiene standards:
- Official Pricing: Special Full Grooming (₹1,499), Full Grooming (₹1,199), Basic Grooming (₹860), BATH & SPA (₹650), Full Body Haircut (₹699).
- 6 FREE Services: Every session includes nail clipping, ear cleaning, mouth cleaning, paw butter, combing, and botanical perfume.
- Matted Coats & Dematting: Severely matted fur pulls painfully on animal skin and creates fungal hotspots. If master groomer Mantosh determines that dematting will inflict undue pain, the coat will be humanely shaved with the owner's consent. Additional charges may apply for severe pelting.
- Doorstep Home Grooming across South Delhi: For home visits in Chhatarpur, DLF Farms, Mehrauli, Vasant Kunj, Saket, Sainik Farm, and GK, pet parents must provide a clean workspace, standard electrical outlet, and warm running water.
- Sedation Policy: We adhere to a strictly Zero Unprescribed Sedation philosophy. We never sedate animals for grooming. Anxious pets receive patience, soothing breaks, and treat rewards.
5. Working Hours (7:30 AM – 11:30 PM), Check-in & Stay Durations
The Pet Retreat working hours are 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM, 7 Days a week on 100 Feet Road, Mittal Garden, Chhatarpur, New Delhi. Boarding pets staying overnight receive 24/7 continuous on-campus caregiver supervision:
- Check-in, Check-out & Visits: Scheduled between 7:30 AM and 11:30 PM. Owners must notify us of estimated arrival and pickup times to ensure smooth handover and minimize pack disruption.
- Daycare vs. Boarding Calculation: Daytime stays without overnight sleep fall under Daycare. Stays extending overnight are billed under our standard boarding rate of ₹700 per day for dogs and ₹800 per night for cats.
- Late Pickup: Extensions must be requested via WhatsApp at least 4 hours in advance so we can continue meal planning and caregiver allocation.
6. Transparent Pricing, Payments & Cancellation Refund Policy
We pride ourselves on complete pricing transparency with no hidden utility or medication administration fees:
🟢 Early Check-Out Refund Guarantee & Cancellation Policy
Early Check-Out Refunds: If the check-out is earlier than expected due to changed travel plans, your remaining amount for all unused days will be promptly refunded. You are only billed for the actual duration your pet stayed at The Pet Retreat.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel or reschedule your reservation with ease. On cancellation, any advance deposit or pre-paid balance for unavailed days or services will be refunded directly to your original payment method (UPI or bank transfer) without hidden lock-ins.
- Payment Methods: We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, and Cash at the retreat.
- Settlement: Final billing is adjusted for exact stay duration, and any remaining balance is refunded or cleared prior to or at the time of pet check-out.
7. Veterinary Emergency Protocol & Authorization
Your pet's physical safety is our primary obligation. In the event that a pet becomes ill, injured, or displays symptoms requiring medical attention:
- Caregiver Action: Our 24/7 on-site caregivers immediately isolate the pet in a calm, temperature-controlled recovery room and initiate first aid.
- Owner Notification: We make prompt attempts to contact the owner or designated emergency guardian via telephone and WhatsApp.
- Emergency Medical Authorization: If the owner cannot be immediately reached, or if delay poses a life-threatening risk, the owner grants The Pet Retreat full authorization to transport the pet to our on-call veterinary partner or nearby 24/7 animal hospitals in South Delhi (Mehrauli, Saket, Vasant Kunj).
- Veterinary Expenses: All medical, diagnostic, diagnostic lab, pharmaceutical, and emergency clinical charges incurred are the financial responsibility of the pet owner.
8. Pet Taxi & Pick-Up/Drop Transportation Terms
For pets utilizing our AC Pet Taxi service across Delhi NCR:
- Pets are secured inside travel harnesses, crates, or tethered backseat dividers for vehicle road safety.
- Owners must ensure dogs have completed a brief relief walk before the driver arrives.
- Traffic delays caused by road closures or weather in Delhi NCR are communicated promptly via live WhatsApp tracking.
9. Pet Parent Responsibilities & Honest Disclosure
To ensure community harmony, pet parents agree to:
- Provide honest, comprehensive disclosure regarding any past history of biting, fence jumping, intense separation anxiety, resource guarding, or thunder phobias.
- Provide sufficient specialized food if not opting for our fresh home-cooked diet (boiled chicken, rice, eggs).
- Provide clearly labeled medication containers with written dosage instructions.
- Pet Abandonment: Any pet uncollected 7 days after the scheduled checkout date without communication or payment from the owner will be deemed abandoned under relevant animal welfare provisions of Delhi, and reported to statutory authorities.
10. Limitation of Liability & Dispute Jurisdiction
The Pet Retreat exercises all reasonable, prudent, and compassionate precautions to protect pets entrusted to our care. However, because animals are living beings with unpredictable instincts, The Pet Retreat, its management, master groomers, and caregivers shall not be held liable for illnesses (such as airborne viruses or pre-existing chronic conditions), natural age-related decline, or accidental minor play injuries, provided due care has been demonstrated.
This agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of or related to these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in South Delhi / New Delhi, India.
